Jain Bedtime Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern use of Jain Bedtime. Jain Bedtime provides Jain bedtime stories, narration, offline listening, and optional premium access through a mobile app.
By using Jain Bedtime, you agree to these Terms. If you use Jain Bedtime for a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent, guardian, or an adult authorized to supervise the child’s use of the app.
The App
Jain Bedtime provides family-oriented Jain stories, collections, audio playback, offline downloads, favorites, listening progress, and content reporting. Some stories or features may be free. Premium stories, collections, or offline features may require an active subscription or other in-app purchase.
Jain Bedtime content is for general educational, devotional, and entertainment purposes. It is not a substitute for parental judgment, religious instruction from a trusted teacher, medical advice, legal advice, or professional counseling.
Accounts and App Sessions
Jain Bedtime may use an anonymous app session to save progress, favorites, premium access, and related app state without requiring an email address or password. If app data is deleted, the app is uninstalled, or the device changes, some anonymous-session data may no longer be recoverable unless it can be restored through a valid purchase entitlement.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Jain Bedtime Premium may be offered as an auto-renewing subscription or another in-app purchase through Apple App Store or Google Play.
When a subscription is shown in the app or store purchase sheet, the offer should disclose the price, billing period, renewal terms, and any trial or introductory terms that apply. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the user’s Apple App Store or Google Play account settings before the renewal date.
Purchases, cancellations, refunds, billing disputes, and payment methods are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their policies. Jain Bedtime does not process payment card details directly.
Premium access may continue until the end of the current paid billing period after cancellation, subject to Apple App Store or Google Play rules and the purchase terms shown at checkout.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- misuse the app or interfere with its operation;
- attempt to bypass premium access controls;
- copy, scrape, redistribute, sell, or publicly perform app content without permission;
- submit unlawful, harmful, abusive, or misleading content reports;
- reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law; or
- use the app in a way that violates applicable law or store policies.
Parent and Guardian Responsibility
Jain Bedtime is intended for supervised family use. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether stories, themes, audio, and premium purchases are appropriate for their child. Adults should supervise purchases and device access.
Do not submit a child’s personal information through content report details or support messages.
Content and Availability
Jain Bedtime may add, remove, update, rename, or change stories, collections, premium features, languages, narration, artwork, and availability over time. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the app when needed for maintenance, legal, store, security, or business reasons.
Some features require an internet connection. Offline playback works only for stories downloaded in the app and may still require periodic checks for entitlement, availability, or app integrity.
Intellectual Property
The app, text, audio, artwork, design, software, and related materials are owned by Jain Bedtime’s operator or licensed for use in the app. These Terms allow personal, non-commercial use of the app only. No ownership rights are transferred to users.
Third-Party Services
Jain Bedtime relies on third-party services, including Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play. Their services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. Jain Bedtime is not responsible for store billing systems, device operating systems, or third-party service outages.
No Warranty
Jain Bedtime is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, available in every location, compatible with every device, or that every story or audio file will always remain available.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Jain Bedtime’s operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, service interruption, device issues, or inability to access content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid for Jain Bedtime during the twelve months before the claim, or the minimum amount required by law.
Termination
We may suspend or stop access to Jain Bedtime if use violates these Terms, creates risk for users or the service, or if required by law or store policy. Users may stop using the app at any time and may cancel subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the app, services, store requirements, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
